The perfect fusion of advanced technologies and academia //

This unique ‘Global Center for Cyber Technology’ is the result of fruitful and focused cooperation between academia, advanced research, local government, business entrepreneurship and the global technology industry.

The Park's aim is to leverage academic knowledge and translate it into purposeful production and valuable technology.

Shaping the Future //

Since it was opened three years ago, the Park has become a magnet for high-quality talent. Over 1,500 engineers and researchers are currently working in more than 70 tech companies within the park, from start-up companies to MNCs. Over the next two years, the park is about to double its capacity and by 2026 the plan is to reach the ambitious goal of 10,000 engineers.

A City of the Future //

Be'er-Sheva was named one of seven "cities of tomorrow" in a research study conducted by Brandeis University and the T3 Consultancy firm. The Gav-Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park proudly takes its place in Be'er-Sheva’s “Science Quarter,” alongside the Ben-Gurion

University Campus, the IDF’s Technology Campus and the Soroka Medical Center.

The Vision //

“Be'er-Sheva will not only be the cyber capital of Israel, but one of the most important cyber security centers in the world” (Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Cybertech Conference, January 2014).

Following the Prime Minister's announcement, the Government of Israel has given their full support for turning Be'er-Sheva – and the Gav-Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park in particular – into a world-class location for technological brilliance and innovation.

Government's Cyber Incentives //

A government decision was made to establish the national CERT (Cyber Emergency Response Team) in the Gav-Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park and to offer incentives, tax benefits and employment grants to cyber-related R&D centers of leading technology companies.

The IDF elite technology cyber units are relocating to the new IDF Technology Campus, adjacent to the Gav-Yam Negev Park. Together with the Ben-Gurion University and the Soroka Medical Center, this formidable combination – an academic / technology / business campus of national and global importance – is transforming Be'er-Sheva into a flourishing integrated technology ecosystem, unmatched by any other location worldwide, by confluence of qualities that rarely, if ever, exists in one project.

We welcome you to the future!
